How was 1999 for you?
(Neil) "It's gone really well for us. A number one album and everyone wants us at different places at the same time. I might sound blasť about our UK success, but what would really make me happy would be to see Leftfield's name in the American charts. We've got a massive following in England and we're happy that people support us, but to get people to listen to our music in America would be an even greater achievement."
What was the highest point of the year?
"Playing the Funky Tekno tribe in San Francisco. It was a wonderful, wicked gig. Hearing 'Dusted' on the radio for the first time on Radio 1 in London. We've been so busy that we haven't had much of a chance to relax and take it all in."
Where are you going to be on New Year's Eve?
"Paul (Daley) will be Djing in Sydney, Australia. I'll be doing a party somewhere with some friends. I don't want to be involved with the whole commercial thing that's going to take over the world."
