Leftfield: Afro ditty (pic: STEVE DOUBLE) AH, LEFTFIELD, they're a set of people who can do no wrong. Film soundtracks, records with John Lydon, top dance rhythms, all that. Alas, 'Afro Left' substitutes - no doubt intentionally - thrilling thumping electronics for a kind of idle slop about, neatly accompanying the sampled vocal of a bloke talking to himself in an African language. It thrills not neither does it entertain.
